Yomari

Ingredients:


  1. Rice flour - 500 g

  2. Chakku (Molasses) - 100 g

  3. Roasted Sesame Powder - 60 g

  4. Coconut Powder - 25 g

  5. Water - 1/2 cup


Method of Preparation:


For Dough:

Mix rice flour with warm water and make a dough. Make sure you don’t make the dough too soft not too hard. Cover the dough with a w cheesecloth (muslin cloth) and rest it for 10-15 minutes.


For Stuffing (Chaku Mixture):

Heat the frypan and add chaaku (molasses) to get a liquid look like chocolate mixture and Mix Chaku with Roasted sesame powder. In a small bowl if too thick chaaku mixture some water.


Now take a small amount of dough in a hand and make a round shape. Now press the dough to make a like ice cream cone-shaped crust as. One side of Yomari should have a long tip and the other side is hollow. Fill it with a mixture of molasses mixed with. Using both hands slowly close the hole and make the shape as yomari after then put the yomari in a steamer and Steam it 10 to 15 minutes. Now it is ready to serve. And Enjoy it!
