We are pleased to announce the inaugural GASTRO CUP SERBIA, taking place from October 5th to October 7th, 2017. Organized by ASSOCIATION ZELENA DOLINA, JSC NOVI SAD FAIR, CULINARY FEDERATION OF SERBIA, SERBIAN CHEFS ASSOCIATION, CULINARY ASSOCIATION OF SERBIA, INTERNATIONAL CULINARY UNION (ICU), and HoReCa ASSOCIATION KRAGUJEVAC, this senior competition for professional chefs is part of the GASTRO CHALLENGE OF DANUBE REGION. The event also features a junior competition for secondary culinary schools and academies from Serbia and the region.
Hosted within the prestigious 50th jubilee Fair of tourism in Novi Sad named LORIST, the event is expected to draw over 40 thousand attendees. The competitions will take place in the international hall Master, offering a unique platform for culinary professionals and exhibitors to interact, exchange experiences, and showcase their talents.
The competition boasts five professional kitchen boxes designed to the highest standards, with a sixth box dedicated to lectures throughout the event. Notably, one of the esteemed lecturers at the event was Mr. Stambol Gestamov.
Competition categories include ST1 – CAKES with the theme Autom, T1 – PASTA DISH, R2 – RIVER FISH DISH, M3 – MODERN DISH WITH BEEF FILLET, and K1 – Competition Theme: Free Style – LIVE.
GASTRO CUP SERBIA promises to be a landmark event celebrating culinary excellence, innovation, and collaboration in the heart of Novi Sad.
