The event Pearl of the sea is one of the most ambitious Croatian Chef projects. That why International Culinary Union had interest to participate there. Our team achieve the 1st and 2nd place in the Individual participation and 3th place in the Team Competition. The event were designed as a competition of tourism and hospitality schools, as well as of professional chefs. Besides cooking competition, this event includes round table panels, oenology workshops, cooking shows, gastronomy exhibitions, tasting, theme night of national and international cuisines, gastronomy tours, and entertainment programs. Since its start, more than 1000 chefs from 30 countries participated in Sea Pearl. Thus, this event fulfilled its main goals, and became the biggest gastronomy happening in this part of the Mediterranean. Event is usually extensively covered by national and international media, and visited by few thousand people.
